(1) Test substance.

 

The test substance should be dissolved or suspended in an appropriate medium. It is recommended that water be the first choice, followed by vegetable oil (such as corn oil), and other media (such as carboxymethyl cellulose, gelatin, starch, etc.) be considered again. For nonaqueous solution medium, its toxicological characteristics should be understood, and its toxicity should be determined before the test. The maximum volume of liquid poisoned by mouth each time depends on the size of experimental animals, and the liquid dose given to rodents is generally 1~2ml/100g. By adjusting the concentration of the test substance solution, the oral dose of each dose group was consistent.

 

(2) Laboratory animals and breeding environment.

 

Healthy adult mice or rats are preferred, and other sensitive animals can also be selected The small sample weighs 18~22g. Before the test, the animals with~220g rat body should be exposed to the environment of the laboratory animal room for at least 3 days. The temperature of the animal room for head count should be in line with the national standard of animal room for metrological certification.
